OctoPre Dynamic is equipped with eight Focusrite mic/line preamps from Focusrite's second-generation that have high headroom, copious clean gain, and amazingly low distortion - perfect for tracking drums, guitars, vocals, and more. With two extended-headroom rear-panel instrument inputs, Scarlett OctoPre Dynamic makes it convenient. It's easy to connect the outputs to any interface or digital system with ADAT optical inputs or connect another Scarlett OctoPre Dynamic or any other preamp with an ADAT output, such as the Scarlett OctoPre, for additional expansion. Analogue line outputs from the microphone inputs (or ADAT inputs) are perfect for feeding an analogue console while recording with the digital outputs.
