JBL PRX318SD 18" 350W Passive Subwoofer

It provides bass effects in live performance or music playback applications with the compact 18-inch direct-radiation subwoofer system PRX318SD. A powerful 18-inch subwoofer in a direct-radiation format is employed to produce powerful low frequencies through the PRX318SD's 18-inch woofer and 3-inch voice coil. It can handle 350 watts continuous power and 1400 watts peak power following JBL Professional's 100-hour extended life test. To facilitate use with a full-range speaker, a 36-mm pole mount receptacle on the top receives the SS3BK pole. For convenient transportation and setup, there are two integrated handles made of stainless steel. The PRX318SD uses 18mm MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) for its enclosure, which is sealed with advanced adhesives and mechanical fasteners. The components inside the system are protected from damage during the move or during the show by a dent-resistant grille made from 18-gauge perforated steel.
