RODE NTG-1 Shotgun Microphone
The Rode's NTG-1 is a perfect example of Rode's ingenuity in the realm of creating microphone for video applications. This condenser microphone is with complete frequency response, low noise, and audio transparency make it perfect for film, video, and voice-over applications, while its lightweight (105g/3.7oz) makes it a great boom microphone. A configurable high-pass filter of 80Hz is available and in addition to the native 20Hz-20kHz frequency response, it could prevent low-end noise such as air conditioners and traffic from being captured. During recording, the WSVM windscreen is provided to reduce mild wind noise and plosives. For outdoor use, the optional 'DeadCat' furry is advised.
