The Shure's SM93 is a budget-friendly omnidirectional tiny lavalier condenser microphone for speech applications. Despite its diminutive size, the microphone element produces a rich, clear sound that rivals that of much bigger microphones. With low-end rolloff and presence rise, its frequency response is tailored to body-worn applications. The SM93 also uses phantom power from broadcast, sound reinforcement, or recording equipment, or an external phantom supply. The SM93 covers both DIN and IEC phantom power standards and operates over a wide voltage range of 11 to 52 Vdc.
