P420 from AKG is a multi-pattern large-diaphragm true condenser microphone with high sensitivity, high SPL capacity, and multiple pickup patterns; in short, it is the perfect complement to any professional studio that demands uncompromising quality. Furthermore, this microphone offers a warm, transparent sound that works well with ensemble recordings, grand pianos, brass and woodwind instruments, as well as drums and percussion. In addition, you can choose from cardioid, Omni, and figure-eight pickup patterns. The mic is built ruggedly and features a spider-style shock mount and aluminium carrying case.
