JBL CONTROL 19CS Ceiling Subwoofers

The ceiling speaker, white subwoofer, the JBL Control 19CS is a passive, 8" subwoofer that features SonicGuard overload protection circuitry to provide reliable low-frequency reinforcement for foreground music systems in a wide range of environments, from conference rooms to bistros. These subwoofers provide 200W program power when driven by 8-Ohm power amplifiers (available separately). Also, a sturdy 8" polypropylene woofer is built into each Control 19CS to provide coverage for the low-frequency range from 42 to 200 Hz. Further, with the Nested Chamber design and Linear Dynamics port, the low-pass characteristics are sonically transparent and have extended low-end response. Installation is made easier by the removable locking connector, C-shaped support backing plate, tile support rails, cut out template, and paint shield.
