The X2U connects directly to Windows or Mac computers through USB and can be used with a dynamic microphone. The X2U's plug-and-play connectivity also makes a digital recording for music production, podcasts, and more a breeze. Latency-free monitoring is provided by a 1/8" (3.5mm) headphone output, and three rotary knobs control monitor, microphone gain, and output volume level. With its 16-bit, 48-kHz digital audio resolution, the X2U can supply +48V phantom power to condenser microphones and produces exquisite audio fidelity that's superior to CD.
